The Gala is a dancer portrait art print by Paola Minekov, from one of three paintings she created for a charity gala held in London in 2010.
The paintings for the gala were based on life drawings of dancers from The Royal Ballet and the Ballet Black company, made while they performed. The Gala holds on to that sense of a real person in motion, captured in expressive oil paint.
