Suspended in Time is an original dancer painting by Paola Minekov. Slender blue figures swing and spin through great circular hoops, like aerialists caught at the top of their arc, set against a blazing ground of burnt orange, ochre and gold.

The paint is laid on thickly with a palette knife, and the contrast between the cool blue dancers and the warm, sunlit background gives the whole piece a feeling of heat and weightless motion. It sits between Paola's Dancers and Circus paintings, and makes a bold piece of textured wall art for a living room, hallway or studio.
