After Rain They Gather is an original dance painting by Paola Minekov, inspired by Greek mythology and ancient ritual dance. A circle of pale, luminous figures moves together through a misty ground of lilac, slate blue and sage green, as if the dancers have stepped out after a storm to celebrate.

Thick knife-laid paint gives the figures a sculptural, almost carved quality, while the cooler colours around them keep the scene fresh and airy. It is a statement piece of textured wall art for a living room, hallway or studio, and a rare find for collectors of dance art.
